The brains behind The Caterer’s events portfolio are lacing their walking shoes to take on a charity challenge raising money for the Woman’s Trust
The events and marketing team at Jacobs Meda – the parent company of The Caterer – is swapping the razzle-dazzle of the Cateys for a charity challenge to walk the entire length of London’s Victoria Line.
On Thursday 7 August, the team will set off from Walthamstow Central station and make their way above ground south to Brixton station, passing all 16 stops on the iconic line.
The route will cover 14.5 miles, winding through the capital.
Armed with determination and blister plasters, the all-female team is raising funds for domestic abuse charity the Woman’s Trust. The charity specialises in mental health support for women, including young women and girls, who have experience domestic abuse or abusive relationships.
Lauren Boland, marketing co-ordinator at Jacobs Media, said: “We’re really excited to be raising money for the Woman’s Trust. As an all-female team, we are passionate about supporting its work for women, especially since it is based in the city we work in and love.”
