It comes after the Coppa Club and Noci owner posted revenues of £52.4m in its latest full-year results
The chief executive of Various Eateries has revealed the restaurant group is “actively assessing” opportunities for mergers and acquisitions following a year of strong trading.
The Coppa Club and Noci owner posted 6% revenue growth to £52.4m and recorded adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of £1.4m, up from £0.3m, in its results for the 52 weeks ended 28 September 2025.
The group also narrowed its loss before tax, with figures falling from £3.4m the prior year to £2.7m.
Driving profitability through the premiumisation of its food and beverage offer, improved consistency of service and refined labour schedules were identified by the directors as key drivers of business.
Various Eateries has also made a strong start to FY26, with group like-for-like sales up 9% over the five-week festive period to 4 January, led by Coppa Club (+12%).
Mark Loughborough, who has been chief executive of Various Eateries since January 2025, said: “FY25 was a clear step forward for Various Eateries, where we turned intent into delivery. We tightened execution across the estate, strengthened the team and embedded a more disciplined, consistent way of operating, giving us a stronger platform to build from. The return to like-for-like growth and record adjusted EBITDA is the result, and a huge credit to our teams given the challenging consumer backdrop and ongoing cost pressures across the sector.
“The focus now is on the next phase. We have a clearer playbook and real momentum, as evidenced in the solid start to FY26, including a particularly strong Christmas period. Our goal is to build a bigger, better hospitality group by scaling our brands with discipline, investing selectively in the estate and, alongside organic growth, actively assessing high-quality, complementary M&A opportunities where the strategic fit is clear and the quality and returns stack up.”
Following the 2025 financial year, the group also appointed new managing director Jon Falarczyk and culinary director Chris Knights.
Various Eateries operates 20 sites under the Coppa Club, Noci, Tavolino and 31 Below brands.
