Good & Proper Tea is relaunching its House Matcha, a latte-focused blend created in Kyoto by Japanese tea master Hiroshi Kobayashi. Working in partnership with Good & Proper, Kobayashi selects leaves from the spring harvest, then blends them to create a creamy, smooth matcha with an umami finish. The blend has been created specifically with baristas in mind and is designed to pair with milk.

Australian company Northern Beaches has launched its Bearded Barista coffee beans in the UK. The medium roast, full-bodied coffee is sourced from small-batch growers in South and Central America and southeast Asia, before being hand-roasted and blended in Australia. The coffee has a robust flavour profile with notes of dark chocolate and hazelnut, and a smooth finish with hints of black cherry, vanilla and caramelised toffee.

Evoca brand Gaggia Milano has launched the La Radiosa Dual Milk coffee machine, which can create drinks made with dairy or non-dairy milk. La Radiosa Dual Milk comes with a fridge and canisters divided into two three-litre compartments, one for each milk, as standard. Alternatively, for busier sites, two slimline fridges, each containing six litres of dairy or plant-based milk, can be placed side by side.

Devon-based roaster Voyager Coffee’s latest single-origin release is Sitio São Lourenço, a Brazilian coffee from the southern region of Minas Gerais. The coffee is grown by fifth-generation producer Antônio Afonso de Oliveira, and it creates a smooth, full-bodied cup with notes of chocolate, walnut and stewed plum. The creamy body and mellow acidity makes it a versatile choice for both espresso and filter brewing.

Frozen milkshake brand f’real is expanding beyond retail with the launch of its milkshake blenders for foodservice outlets across the UK. The company offers two types of blenders: the B6, a self-serve blender, which lets customers choose their flavour and thickness via an interactive touchscreen, and the compact, behind-the-counter B7 blender, designed for foodservice operators. The B7 delivers a freshly blended milkshake in 40 seconds, with minimal staff input. Milkshake flavours include strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, salted caramel, cookies and cream and Rolo, along with limited-edition mint choc chip and chocolate orange.

Aimia Foods for Professionals has partnered with Impulse Brands Group – owner of the Bubbleology bubble tea brand – to bring bubble tea to the foodservice market under the Global Boba brand. The Global Boba range includes a ‘Mixology Kit’ with the ingredients to make 20 bubble tea drinks. Each kit can make five mango bubble teas, five passion fruit bubble teas and 10 brown sugar bubble teas, with either tapioca or popping boba. A range of bulk options includes 2.5 litre syrups, 3.2kg popping bobas, jasmine tea, tapioca pearls and consumables such as cups, lids and straws.

Fair Shot, the social enterprise dedicated to empowering young adults with learning disabilities through employment, has launched Inclusive Coffee. The coffee has been ethically sourced from O’Coffee in Brazil and Cofinet in Colombia, and each bag of beans supports Fair Shot’s mission to create a more inclusive workforce within the hospitality industry. Three varieties are available: Inclusive Blend, Inclusive Decaf and Inclusive Origin.

South Africa’s macadamia milk brand Giraf has arrived in the UK. Giraf can be frothed into a flat white, poured over cereal or used in cooking. It is made from sustainably-grown South African macadamias and is naturally dairy-free, lactose-free and gluten-free. The milk is available in three variants – original, oat and unsweetened – in long-life, recyclable one-litre cartons with a 12-month shelf life.

Cimbali’s Casadio brand has introduced Ermes Dual, a coffee grinder for both espresso and filter, suitable for medium- to high-volume businesses. The aluminium machine features 75mm vertical flat burrs for precision and speed, and can switch quickly between single-shot and on-demand modes. It has a colour display with a recipe memory, meaning baristas can replicate their preferred settings.
