Donut Worry Be Happy has tapped into the pistachio trend with the Dubai Diva Ring Donut. The milk chocolate-coated doughnut is filled with pistachio cream and topped with green pistachio stripes and a sprinkle of pistachio pieces. It contains natural colours and flavours and uses a lighter dough. The product is suitable for vegetarians and can be defrosted within 60 minutes.

Delice de France has unveiled its winter range of sweet and savoury products. The range includes chocolate orange flavour doughnuts, a trio of muffins in spiced stollen, gingerbread and cranberry and orange flavours, mini mince pies with a star lid and a mince pie slice, which comes pre-portioned in 15 servings. Savoury options include a Christmas cracker roll, a puff pastry roll filled with pork, turkey, cranberries and a savoury seasonal stuffing, and a pigs in blankets slice.

La Lorraine has added several premium breads to its portfolio, including a sourdough, poppyseed and rustic-style loaf. The stone-baked bread has a long fermentation and is made from wheat flour and topped with poppy seeds; the miche paysanne bread is baked with long rising and resting times; and the batard campagne (pictured) is a white wheat flour bread with a low rising process and a sweet, buttery taste.

Plamil Foods’ Vegan Chocolat brand has launched Coffee Bean Confectionery Chips, produced from real coffee beans. The chips have been made using a process similar to chocolate-making, which retains coffee characteristics and gives the chips a smooth, creamy texture. The chips can be used in baked goods or as a decoration for pastries.

Panesco has expanded its line-up with three bakery products: a puff pastry salted caramel plait filled with a salted caramel cream; cocoa American pancakes, which are made with wheat flour, eggs and cocoa powder and are ready to heat; and a part-baked Panne Fiesta tear-and-share party loaf, an oval of 12 mini white bread rolls topped with oat flakes, sunflower kernels, linseed, rye flakes, wheat flakes, sesame seeds and poppy seeds.
