Wholesaler Brakes has revamped its ice-cream range with an exclusive range of gelatos and sorbettos from producers Hackney Gelato and Jude’s. The gelatos from Hackney Gelato are produced using traditional methods, where they are churned slowly to keep the ice and air out for a smoother texture. There are 13 varieties in a 4.5 litre format, including a Raspberry and Alphonso Mango sorbetto or gelatos in Pistachio, Chocolate & Roasted Hazelnut, and Sea Salted Caramel flavours. Jude’s 4.75 litre Napoli range includes flavours such as Bubblegum, which is naturally coloured with spirulina, and Speculoos Caramel Biscuit.
