Handling will be joined by chef Mickael Viljanen of Dublin’s Chapter One to serve a seven-course menu

Chef Adam Handling has launched a four-hands dinner series at his Michelin-starred restaurant Frog by Adam Handling in London’s Covent Garden.
The ‘Friends of Frog’ two-star collaboration will see the chef welcome industry peers into his kitchen to create tasting menus that reflect the best of their cooking styles.
All the chefs taking part in the series operate at two-Michelin-starred restaurants.
Following a sold-out dinner by Angelo Sato of London’s Humble Chicken last month, Handling will be joined by Mickael Viljanen of Chapter One in Dublin (8 June). Together, they will serve dishes such as Cornish crab, perilla, fermented tomato; XL scallop, black truffle, smoked eel and rye; and BBQ limousin, veal sweetbreads, Japanese citrus glaze, peas, Rossini Kaluga caviar, spring onion and vinegar butter.
Next month, the restaurant will welcome Aktar Islam of Opheem in Birmingham on 14 July – a week after he cooks at this year’s Cateys – and Stephen McLaughlin of Restaurant Andrew Fairlie in Gleneagles on 21 July.
Handling said: “I’m collaborating with my friends – the chefs who have influenced my career. There’s a saying I really believe in: ‘Surround yourself with great people and you’ll become great.’ That’s exactly what this series is about. Gleneagles is where my career began. One of the best meals I’ve ever had was at Chapter One. I love Aktar’s modern take on Indian food – his flavours will blow your mind. And I really admire Angelo’s drive, ambition and hunger.
“Hosting these chefs at Frog is an absolute privilege. There’s no shadow of a doubt that Frog wants to become two stars one day and bringing these incredible talents together under one roof is an exciting step towards that. I can’t wait to bring our ethos of sustainable, British luxury together with each of their own approaches, and to welcome restaurants from across the UK and Ireland to London for this collaboration series.”
This week’s seven-course dinner with Viljanen will be priced at £350, excluding beverages and service charge.
Handling is the chef-owner of the Adam Handling Collection, which was awarded Restaurant of the Year – Independent at the 2024 Cateys.
