Corenucopia by Clare Smyth is expected to open in London’s Chelsea later this year
Chef Clare Smyth has announced plans to open a “luxury bistro” in London’s Chelsea this November.
In a post on Instagram, the chef patron of the three-Michelin-starred Core by Clare Smyth in London’s Notting Hill said: “Exciting news! We’re thrilled to announce the opening of Corenucopia by Clare Smyth, our brand-new luxury bistro in Chelsea, launching November 2025.”
She added the team are in the process of hiring “passionate and talented individuals” across kitchen, front of house and back of house.
According to Corenucopia by Clare Smyth’s Instagram account, the restaurant is located at 18-22 Holbein Place.
The building dates back to 1889 and was most recently home to Italian steakhouse Tabisca, which appears to have closed earlier this year.
According to planning documents filed on the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, an application to make changes to the existing shopfront was submitted on 4 July.
Smyth grew up in Country Antrim, Northern Ireland, before pursuing a career in hospitality.
She worked under Gordon Ramsay for 13 years and was chef patron of the three Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay before launching her own restaurant, Core by Clare Smyth, in 2017.
In 2021, she opened her first international outpost, Oncore by Clare Smyth, in Sydney.
She also received Restaurateur of the Year – Independent at the 2023 Cateys.
