Philli Armitage-Mattin will be leading the menus at the Fulham Riverside members’ club as chef partner
Former MasterChef: The Professionals finalist Philli Armitage-Mattin has been named chef partner at upcoming London members’ club Lighthouse Social.
Armitage-Mattin will be bringing her signature Asian flavours to the new private members’ club once it opens on Fulham riverside this spring.
The menu will mix Asian and American cuisines, combining Korean and Southeast Asian flavours with New York comfort food, and be served across multiple club spaces, ranging from the 45-cover restaurant all the way to the rooftop.
Since competing as the only female finalist in Masterchef: The Professionals 2020, Armitage-Mattin has held residencies at Kebab Queen in London’s Covent Garden and at the InterContinental London Park Lane’s Number One Park Lane.
She said: “Joining Lighthouse Social as chef partner is such an exciting step, especially since it’s right here in my own community! I can’t wait to bring my passion for bold, epic flavours and creativity to the club, creating dishes that connect people over incredible food. Members can expect an unforgettable dining experience in one of the most amazing riverside spots around.”
Emily Biggs, head of membership at Lighthouse Social, added: “Community lies at the heart of Lighthouse Social, so it felt perfect to appoint Philli – a renowned chef and Fulham local – as our chef partner. We can’t wait for our members to enjoy her creations in our new club, especially as we share the same belief that the root of all food experiences is based on individual journeys, stories and connections.”
Lighthouse Social forms part of Fulham Pier, the riverside leisure complex that is being developed by Fulham Football Club in partnership with Sodexo Live!, which is due for completion this summer.
The members’ club will be split over three floors, offering 10,000 sq ft of indoor space and 2,000 sq ft of outdoor space, including two large rooftop terraces.
It will also feature a flagship restaurant, multiple bars, a screening room, library, shared workspace and Club Crèche.
Meanwhile, the live music, entertainment and hospitality venue as a whole will also offer a Riverside Market, a space for live podcasts, screenings and comedy evenings, a destination restaurant and brasserie, a boutique hotel and health spa.
