He takes over from Chris McClurg, who stepped down from the role in January after 13 years

Mason Winwood has been named head chef at the Michelin-starred Paul Ainsworth at No 6 in Padstow.
He takes over from Chris McClurg, who recently stepped down from the role after 13 years at the restaurant to pursue his dream of opening his own diner in Northern Ireland.
Winwood has worked at No 6 for the past decade and was praised by Ainsworth for his “dedication, passion and creativity”.
He will be working alongside pastry sous chef Josh Rooney and development chef Ciaran Burr.
Ainsworth joined No 6 as head chef in 2005 after eight years working in London with the likes of Gary Rhodes, Gordon Ramsay and Marcus Wareing.
After three years, he and his wife Emma took over the business to relaunch it as Paul Ainsworth at No 6 and in 2013 the restaurant secured a Michelin star.
