The restaurant is planning to relocate to a new site in the centre of town

Tern restaurant on Worthing Pier has crowdfunded over £65,000 in just three days to help fund its relocation to a new site.
The restaurant was launched by chef Johnny Stanford in 2023 and has won two AA Rosettes and a recommendation in the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland for its modern British cooking.
Now it is planning to relocate to a more permanent site in central Worthing, spread across two floors with an open kitchen.
The team has already secured £65,000 in investment and has raised a further £68,000 on Crowdfunder from over 190 supporters to build a new kitchen, install a cocktail bar and revamp the new space.
At the time of writing, the project still has 28 days left until it officially closes.
In a video on the Crowdfunder page, Stanford said: “We’ve outgrown our space on the pier and it’s time for the next step.”
