The Bridge programme is also designed to train team members in neurodiversity awareness
Workplace caterer Genuine Dining has launched a dedicated employment programme for people with learning and developmental disabilities.
The Bridge programme seeks to support these individuals into paid employment, mentoring and training opportunities at Genuine Dining and its client sites.
It has also been designed to train team members in inclusive communication and neurodiversity awareness.
Tim Axe, managing director at Genuine Dining, said: “The Bridge represents a long-term, intentional investment in social value for Genuine Dining. We believe inclusive employment should be embedded into how we operate as a business, not treated as an add-on.
“This programme allows us to create meaningful, paid opportunities for people with learning and developmental disabilities while delivering real value for our clients, teams and customers. By combining purpose, high-quality service and genuine impact, the Bridge reflects who we are and the kind of business we want to be.”
Genuine Dining was sold to BaxterStorey-owner Westbury Street Holdings (WSH) in September 2024.
The firm won Foodservice Cateys for Business and Industry Caterer of the Year in 2025 and Event Caterer of the Year in 2024.
