Here are all the hospitality venues set to launch across the UK in June 2025
June is serving up a feast of cult favourites as beloved hospitality brands, both home-grown and international, look to grow their fan following.
Much-loved Thai restaurant Singburi, originally from London’s Leytonstone, has returned to London’s Shoreditch, which has also welcomed hit Parisian smashburger brand Dumbo. Meanwhile, Amsterdam-based aparthotel brand the July has made its UK debut in London’s Victoria, where stylish deli ScandiKitchen has just launched its first new location in 17 years. Further afield in Oxfordshire, the Baker Boys are opening their fourth bakery, while chef Lali Souto of Matsudai Ramen fame looks to offer a contemporary canteen in Cardiff: Nomad.

Charles Ganem and Samuel Nataf’s Parisian smashburger brand Dumbo has made its London debut in Shoreditch. It marks the group’s fifth site and first opening outside of Paris. For its London restaurant, which offers chic, stripped-back interiors, the team has partnered with local butcher HG Walter.

Chef Stu Deeley, formerly of Smoke at Hampton Manor, has launched the Warwick within Mallory Court Country House Hotel & Spa in Leamington Spa, where he serves two tasting menus: the five-course Taste of the Season (£105) and a three-course menu (£90). It marks a homecoming of sorts for the chef, who started his career at the hotel.

Famed east London Thai restaurant Singburi is set to return after its sabbatical, this time in London’s Shoreditch. The new site, led by chefs Nick Molyviatis and Sirichai Kularbwong, alongside general manager Alexander Gkikas, site takes inspiration from the eateries of Bangkok. It offers 59 covers, 19 of which are counter seats offering a front-row view of the live-fire cooking.

Amsterdam-based aparthotel brand the July has made its UK debut in London’s Victoria. Each of the 116 apartments feature a private kitchen, and the hotel also offers an all-day Mediterranean-British restaurant – the Idler – from head chef Jay Campbell, as well as a deli and bar.

ScandiKitchen has launched its second site in London’s Victoria, 18 years after making its debut in Fitzrovia. It was founded by Danish-born Bronte Aurell and her Swedish husband Jonas, who arrived in the UK 25 years ago. The café and deli offers everything from a homemade porridge in the morning to Swedish meatballs with salad and mash at lunchtime.

London’s Clapham has welcomed its first private members’ club, the Arding Rooms within the Arding & Hobbs building. It offers wellness programmes in partnership with Third Space, curated talks on arts and culture, and food and beverage showcasing local talent.

Salad bar Atis is set to launch its 11th location in the capital in London’s Battersea. The site has been designed by Daytrip Studio and will continue to offer its signature bowls and plates.

Big Mamma has launched its second Circolo Popolare, this time in Manchester, marking the group’s first restaurant in the north of England. The two-floor trattoria takes guests to Sicily through its Mediterranean exuberance, lavish interiors created by in-house designers Studio Kiki and food from Campanian-born head chef Alfonso Esposito.

Chef Tom De Keyser, former head chef at the two-Michelin-starred Hand & Flowers in Marlow and head chef at the Coach, another Tom Kerridge Group venue, has launched the Chalk Freehouse in London’s Chelsea, occupying the site of the Butcher’s Tap & Grill. It will offer Sunday roast, homemade ice-cream and a selection of classic dishes.

London Fields bakery E5 has expanded into the newly launched V&A East Storehouse in London’s Stratford, serving its signature sweet and savoury treats made from Fellows Farm wheat. The site was designed by architecture studio Thing and built by local wood workers Jones Neville.

Bagatelle Group is set to launch its first restaurant under La Bistrot Collection, Chez Lui in London’s Notting Hill. The Parisian diner has been designed by Sam Baron, who has previously worked with luxury houses such as Dior Maison and Diptyque. The kitchen is led by group corporate chef Rocco Seminara, pastry chef Manon Santini and development chef Pablo Segovia.

Chef and restaurateur Sam Elliott is set to launch his third restaurant in Bristol: all-day diner Prime by Pasture. Since its founding in 2018, the Pasture restaurant group has gained a loyal following for its commitment to ethical sourcing and expert butchery. The latest outpost will also feature an on-site deli with a vast array of takeaway options.

Gloucestershire-based Knead Bakery will expand into Oxfordshire for the first time this month. Founders John Hawes and Kris Biggs, also known as the ‘Baker Boys’, will serve their signature sausage rolls, pecan and maple Danish pastries and almond croissants. The pair met while working in the kitchens of Whatley Manor in Malmesbury.

Former Matsudai Ramen chef Lali Souto is launching solo venture Nomad in Cardiff. Taking over the former site of Terra Mare, the new restaurant has been dubbed a lux-modern canteen, serving the likes of hand-made pasta, chargrilled flatbreads and signature cocktails.
