Hotel guest communication hub HiJiffy has partnered with Expedia Group to enable hoteliers to stream all guest messages from Expedia directly to their HiJiffy Console. Hoteliers will no longer need to login to Expedia Partner Central to manually manage messages, allowing them to focus on delivering guest experience while saving time and resources spent on managing conversations. Hoteliers can now access the entire conversation history for a property, find individual messages or threads and send messages with attachments. They can also set up alerts for messages before, during and after a stay.

RoomRaccoon users can connect their hotel management system to Great Stay App’s digital concierge, which automates key touchpoints and offers push notifications. For example, hoteliers can automate pre-arrival messages, share booking details and provide guests with access to FAQs and hotel services. Guests can check in from their mobile devices and purchase room upgrades, as well as dining options, spa treatments and other extras directly through the app. The concierge can also share interactive maps, with recommendations for local activities and offers from partner businesses.

Hotel technology specialist SHR has launched an AI Assistant that automates content creation. The assistant works within its central reservation systems (CRS) and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms to streamline communication for a host of everyday information. It can create multilingual updates, enhance accessibility compliance, such as by generating alt text for images, can write optimised room descriptions and create promotional messaging. The AI Assistant is embedded directly into SHR’s CRS and CRM, eliminating the need for hoteliers to manually rebuild or map reservation descriptions across systems.
