Steve Georgiou and Jodan Sweeney of the Wigmore at the Langham London have been crowned winners of the UK Amaro di Angostura Versus Cocktail competition. The pair won an all-expenses-paid trip to the Athens Bar Show 2019 on 5-6 November, courtesy of the House of Angostura.
The Radmoor restaurant team from Loughborough College recently visited Lisbon, Portugal, for a four-day study tour as part of their prize as the UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year 2019. The students attended a masterclass with Henrique Sá Pessoa, two-Michelin-starred chef of Alma, and also dined at his restaurant. The tour included a visit to the winery of Quinta do Monte D’Oiro and the Pena Palace at Sintra.
