Catering contract re-procurement
The BBC is currently re-procuring its Total Facilities Management Services, including FM, Catering and Security, to provide for its portfolio of approximately 150 sites, including iconic broadcast buildings such as New Broadcasting House, MediaCity UK and Pacific Quay.
The Catering requirements have been separated into 8 Lots representing the BBC's geographical presence (London, Scotland, English Regions, Wales and Northern Ireland). The BBC has adopted this approach in order to provide the opportunity for small and medium sized businesses to tender, and to ensure that the best service delivery and value for money is achieved across the estate.
This is an exciting opportunity for local, regional and UK-wide businesses to bid for some or all of the contract(s), which will be awarded in April 2014 for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a maximum of 2 years.
