Incipio Group, the operator behind venues such as Pergola on the Wharf and the Libertine, has announced plans for an "elevated F&B offer" at the new Olympia development in London.

The £1.3b, 14-acre project, which is being led by Yoo Capital and Deutsche Finance International, is due to open in summer 2025.

Once complete, the Olympia will provide a host of entertainment and events facilities, including the addition of multiple food and beverage operations, offices, an AEG music arena, a theatre, a performing arts school and two hotels.

Incipio Group will take over 39,000 sq ft across the development, overseeing a selection of casual ‘grab and go' operations, as well as providing "premium dining".

The group previously operated Pergola Olympia as a temporary pop-up rooftop bar situated in an unused car park between 2018 and 2021.

Ed Devenport, chief executive of Incipio Group, said: "Olympia is without doubt the most exciting opportunity we have come across as a group; its rich history, tradition, cultural and creative significance make it a stand-out destination within the UK.

"Incipio Group is excited to introduce several diverse and captivating concepts. We want every visitor to find a story that resonates with them, making their visit to Olympia not just a trip, but an unforgettable experience."

Earlier this year, Incipio told The Caterer it is continuing to look for new opportunities, including "a new Pergola by the end of the year".

The Olympia London is an events space in Kensington that dates back to 1886, designed by Henry Edward Coe.
