Kirk and Keeley Haworth's Plates fully-booked for three months

Kirk and Keeley Haworth's highly-anticipated restaurant Plates has completely sold out of its first three months of table bookings.

The siblings opened advance reservations for their upcoming London restaurant at 6pm on Wednesday.

However, so many people tried to access the website that it crashed and quickly sold-out tables for the 25-seat venue and outdoor terrace between 3 July and 6 October.

Kirk was crowned the overall ‘Champion of Champions'on this year's Great British Menu and won acclaim for his plant-based dishes.

After being diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2016, he discovered removing meat, gluten, refined sugar and dairy from his diet improved his symptoms. This led him to develop Plates in 2017, and the restaurant residency won the Menu of the Year Award at the 2023 Cateys.

The first permanent site for Plates will open on 3 July at 320 Old Street in London's Shoreditch.

Kirk took to Instagram this week to thank everyone who had made reservations for their support.

He said: "I just want to say another personal thank you from me and my sister. Completely overwhelmed by the amount of people supporting us to be honest, and it's been such a long journey and I'm just super grateful."

He added that both he and Keeley were aiming to personally reply to every message they had received.

In an email to subscribers, the siblings said they were planning to release a second booking window from 9 October onwards.
