Say hello to the Grease Goblin and goodbye to blocked drains

Fat in drains is a common problem for any successful restaurant. Grease and oil gets into the drains from washing-up pots, pans and plates and increasingly these days from combination-ovens.

It used to be part and parcel of running a restaurant that every now and then your drains would block with fat and grease, typically at the most inconvenient time!

Thankfully there is a solution - the Grease Goblin active drain treatment system.

The Grease Goblin has been developed by wastewater treatment specialists Watling Hope who have been providing grease treatment and removal systems to top food retailers for over 10 years.

Incorporating the latest in grease digesting biotechnology the Grease Goblin system breaks down grease and fat biologically using naturally occurring micro-organisms.

Drainage protection is provided automatically by injecting a formula of specially selected bacteria and enzymes into the drain line at regular intervals which decompose grease accumulations thus preventing odours and blockages.

"Although it sounds simple the process actually happens at a molecular level with bacteria and enzymes working together to attack and break down grease particles - ultimately reducing them to their core components carbon-dioxide and water" comments Edward Palin at Watling Hope.

Fully automatic and fully adjustable the Grease Goblin's dosing regime can be adjusted to suit individual restaurant requirements with an average operating range of 50-500 meals per day.

Exact dosing regime and the position of the system can be advised by Watling Hope prior to installation.
