£25m new-builds for De Vere

The De Vere group is opening two new hotels by Spring next year at a total cost of £25m. The two new-builds in Bury and Newcastle will be branded as Village Leisure hotels.
The 98-bedroom Village Bury, is scheduled to open in August and follows the £12m De Vere White's hotel at the Reebok Stadium in nearby Bolton. The 127-bedroom Village Newcastle will open in early 2002.
There are currently12 Village Leisure hotels and 21 De Vere hotels.
