Aikens in legal wrangle
Tom Aikens, head chef of two-Michelin-starred Pied à Terre in London, is locked in a legal wrangle with the restaurant's owner following an alleged incident involving a member of his kitchen brigade.
Owner David Moore said disciplinary action was being considered.
The dispute is understood to centre on an alleged violent incident last week at the London restaurant. A 19-year-old chef has since resigned.
"Tom is on early holiday leave, I can't comment because it's a disciplinary situation," said Moore.
It is understood there are complications because Aikens is a director and a major shareholder in the company.
Aikens was unavailable for comment.
