Airport hotel upgrade

EXPANSION to 118 bedrooms to meet growing airport and conference trade encouraged the Gatwick Worth Hotel to upgrade its on-premises laundry with the installation of three Primus washer-a extractors, two Cissell 50lb tumble dryers, a Primus 135/160 gas dryer/ironer and an ironing table. Back-up service from supplier Warner Howard included scale drawings, training and servicing.

The hotel purchased its equipment outright but could have chosen lease purchase (with the option of a maintenance contract) or rental, The latter is paid for by fixed regular payments including equipment supply and service for the duration of the contract. Latest programme - Rental Holiday - lasts for six years with the first year free and subsequent payments fixed at 1998 prices.
