Balmoral Hotel gets new owners

The Balmoral Hotel in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, has been sold for close to £1.25m. The four-star 20-bedrooom hotel, also has a 65-seat brasserie-restaurant called Toot's. New owners are Julian Peck and Gill Day whose combined CV includes stints at the Dorchester in London and the Hong Kong Club in Hong Kong, as well as several years in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Christie & Co was the agent.
