Sadia Refrigeration, 352 on the Viscount stand is launching a new range of reach-in storage cabinets featuring energy efficiency and a new cassette refrigeration system. The company is also showing a selection of display refrigeration equipment including Sadia Select display cases, Sadia Conserve free-standing counters and Sadia Solutions modular servery counters plus new improved bottle coolers and ice machines. Three separate demonstration kitchens planned for the show by Enodis Distribution UK, 353 are themed to different cooking methods: combination, conveyor and microwave. The combination kitchen features Convotherm ovens and focuses attention on such features as the "closed" operating system, disappearing door and PC controlled software. The conveyor section launches Enodis's distributorship for the Lincoln Impinger oven range. Stand 310

Fan-assisted convection heating and quartz grilling combine on the FC110G convection oven to be shown by Roller Grill UK, 354. When used as a standard oven, the Spanish-made FC110G uses its 5.5 kW of power to reach 300°C within 10 minutes with a push-button steam injection facility for enhanced baking results. Stand 714

The Allora, latest "plug and play" table-top beverage dispenser from Nestle, 363, uses a capsule system to deliver a range of portion controlled hot drinks based on soluble ingredients. The machine, which is housed in a matt silver contemporary style case, simply needs filling with cold water. Price is £300. Stand 1646.

Balmoral, 358 is boosting its activities in beverage dispense with the Brasserie slim-line fresh juice dispenser for serving ready-to-drink chilled juices. It uses Outspan 100 per cent pure orange and Cape 100 per cent pure apple juices in two 10 litre boxes, each serving more than 100 drinks from one of two dispense points before needing refill. Lec Refrigeration, 359, which has stepped up its investment in catering refrigeration products in the past year, makes its Hospitality Week debut with its "revolutionary" FLS900SV foamed back-bar chiller. This has blown foam insulation for improved energy-efficiency and higher ambient operation (up to 38°C).Stand 321

Gilberts, 360 is launching the JuiceMaster Professional, a centrifugal machine designed to convert hard fruit and vegetables such as apples and carrots into juice within seconds. Made by Thielmann Rotel of Switzerland, machines are constructed in stainless steel and have an exclusive air-cooled 6300 rpm universal motor for continuous use. Stand 530

Tableware and Cookware

A wide range of cookware options - copper, stainless steel, black iron and aluminium - will be combined from the Mermaid and LongLife brands on the Samuel Groves & Co stand, 365. Products in the enhanced range include copperware pans, lined with stainless steel for optimum durability and cleanability as well as high heat transference. Stand 820

Dudson, 366 expects to show additions to its Geometrix and Paintbox tableware ranges including several new sizes plus square trays, noodle bowls, a rectangular rimmed tray and sushi tray.

Tri-Copper cookware to be shown by Grunwerg, 367 allies the heat conducting virtues of copper with the practicalities and lower cost of two other materials (18/10 stainless steel and aluminium).

A full range of pots and pans with heavy cast stainless steel handles will be demonstrated. Also on display will be Art Deco teaware in 18/10 stainless steel, offering "perfect pour" non-drip spouts and hollow cool-touch handles. Stand 328

Designed to provide interesting tabletop combinations, the X-Squared range from Churchill Dining Out, 370 has a white Super vitrified body and now includes four sizes of square plates and two square angled bowls. The company is also adding several new items to be Alchemy range of premium china it launched at Hotelympia 2002.

The 44 item bone china range claims high resistance to impact, chips and thermal shock with sculptured contemporary shapes, a glazed foot on all plates and dishes, rolled edges on all flatware and stackability. Stand 1050.

Facilities and Furniture

A brand new range of hotel bedroom safes is being launched by Burton Safes, 371. Options include key or electronic locking, swipe card or removable "block" lock with sizes large enough for camcorders, laptops and briefcases. Stand 749

Designed and patented in Denmark and priced at £43.95, the Handysitt kiddies' dining seat to be shown by Cheeky Rascals, 372 is designed to attach quickly and securely to most dining chairs, round or square backed. They allow a baby or toddler to sit up and dine at the table with their family without the space loss of a full-sized highchair. Finishes include new glossy cherry wood with a jet black trim.
