Birch Hotel sold

The two-star Birch Hotel at Heywood, Greater Manchester, has been sold by agent Robert Barry & Co on behalf of John and Lorraine Purchon who have run it as a family business for nearly 20 years. The 30-bedroom hotel has been bought as a first venture by Navine Jafferali, Ramesh Patel and Jitendra Patel of company Courtesy World for close to its £900,000 price tag.
