Brighton restaurant sold for £325,000

The former Whytes Restaurant near the seafront in Brighton, East Sussex, has been sold for a sum understood to be in the region of the £325,000 asking price. The 36-seat restaurant is situated on the ground and lower ground floors of the building. A two-bedroom owners' flat occupies the first and second floors. Former owners John and Bridget Anthony had owned the restaurant since 1998. New owners Ian Shier and Euna Kang already have a number of restaurants in the area and plan to rename their new purchase Una's Brasserie. The agent was Christie & Co.
