Buyout bid at BYO

Managers at Bristol-based BYO Restaurants hope to mount a successful buyout of the chain after its shareholders put the group up for sale last week.

The company, formed in 1994, began as a single, unlicensed bring-your-own-wine restaurant.

It operates Hullaballoos and Muset restaurants in Bristol, Bath, Cardiff and London.

Combined annual rent for the restaurants is £195,950. Three of the properties are freehold. The agent is Christie & Co.
