CAFE LIFE
A tasty programme of cookery demonstrations, run by Caterplan, 918, is just one of the highlights at Cafe 2000, held from Tuesday 24 to Thursday 26 October at the Brighton Centre (see box for daily programme).
These include "A Cater-planning Christmas" - with only 61 shopping days until Christmas when the show opens, the Caterplan Culinary services Team will provide last-minute Christmas classics, with some innovative ideas.
Caterplan will also be running the Caterplan Business Centre at the exhibition.
At the ARENA, 919, Industry Dinner, guest speaker Robert (Bobby) Neame, chairman and chief executive of Shepherd Neame will be talking about the Changing Face of The Brewing Industry. The dinner takes place on 24 October at the Brighton Thistle Hotel.

Yee-Q Trading Ltd, 921, produces an extensive range of gourmet dim sum. Stand 50.
Matthew Clark, 922, will be showing a wide range of wines from its extensive portfolio. A series of wine tasting seminars will be held during the show on wines from Australia, California plus Stowells of Chelsea, together with an introduction to wine tasting. Stand 167.
Espresso Warehouse, 923, supplies a range of coffee-related products from coffee beans, biscuits, cafetiäres and cream whippers to grinders, graters, glasses and spoons. Stand 95.
Orchard House Foods, 924, offers freshly squeezed orange juice. One serving (14oz) contains the juice of six oranges. It also supplies a range of fruit breads and buns, cakes, desserts, jam and preserves. Stand 70.
Otis Spunkmeyer, 925, on stand 86 will be sampling its American cookies and muffins.
On the Peter's Food Service, 926, stand you can try a range of pies, pasties, sausage rolls and sausages.
Pete & Johnny, 927, will be launching two new smoothies - "Wake Up" and "Be Happy". These are blends of crushed fruits. Stand 51.
Area Refrigeration, 928, are specialists in the supply and installation of top quality new and reconditioned air conditioning and refrigerated equipment. Stand 60.
Capricorn Furnishing and Flooring Specialists, 929, will be showing a large selection of chairs and stools, wooden or aluminium, finished in a choice of colours and upholstery. Stand 65.
Visit Stand 73, where The Big Brolley Company, 930, will be offering a new low-cost covering for outdoor catering.
Sierra Patio Heaters, 931, will be demonstrating its Sierra heaters which radiate heat over a 6 meter diameter. Visit Stand 140.
Cleankill, 932, pest control specialists, will be exhibiting their Electifly range of Electronic Fly Killers. Stand 90.
Taste a selection from a wide range of products on Stand 115 with Lewis's The Pie People, 933, a bakery producing savoury pies, pasties, sausage rolls and other savoury products.
Magrini's Vita-mix One-Touch blender, 934, combines speed and power with digital programming. To find out more, visit stand 87.
Opal System 2000, 935, is the sole UK importer of Unox Ceramic Grills, which will be demonstrated on Stand 35.
PPL, 936, controls the public performance copyright in records, tapes and CDs in the UK on behalf of the record industry. To make sure you're up to date and licensed appropriately, visit them on stand 161.
Radnor Hills Ltd, 937, will be presenting its new range of thirst-quenching drinks. Stand 150.
RSS of Hereford, 938, installs countering systems. The latest modular range is Koreia, a very highly specified countering system that enhances any type of food display through its wide-screen curved glass front making it clearly visible from many aspects. Stand 63.
Speciality Food Services, 939, are showing two new products - Mister Panino and Snack Italiano.
Vianen Kitchen Ventilation, 940, designs, manufactures and installs a large range of extract canopies and ventilated ceilings for commercial kitchens. It will be exhibiting a selection of products. Stand 44.
Kenco, 941, will be relaunching its Kenco Singles with a new design. This coffee system uses capsules of vacuum-packed roast and ground coffee. It will be offering refreshments from its roast and ground range on stand 45/46.
