Premier House is replacing its pioneering Jungle Bungle indoor children's play areas with a more hi-tech offering, which includes computer stations and big-screen TVs.

This year the pub chain plans to convert the play areas in 19 of its 87 Millers Kitchen units to Captain Coconut Adventure Islands, a brand which was acquired when parent company Greenalls Group purchased the Boddington Group last October.

"Our Jungle Bungles have been phenomenally successful but extensive research has shown that a fresh, vibrant approach is needed," said operations director David Russell.

The new-look play areas will feature multi-media packages, climbing frames, giant slides and model pirate ships.
