Car bomb hits hospitality

Restaurateurs and pub landlords are counting the cost of last week's bomb explosion in Ealing, west London.

The car bomb exploded two minutes before midnight on Thursday (2 August) near Ealing Broadway underground station. It blew out shop and pub windows along the Broadway.

Seven people were hurt in the explosion, which was believed to have been the work of the Irish republican splinter group the Real IRA.

The area is well known for its pubs and restaurants.
