Carluccio expands

Italian restaurateur Antonio Carluccio is planning a chain of 20 to 25 Carluccio's Caffés in London over the next five years.

The Neal Street restaurant-owner is launching the chain with his wife Priscilla.

The first of the restaurants, a 60-seater, opens near Oxford Circus in November. It will serve Italian food, with lunch from about £12 per head.

There will also be a delicatessen on the premises serving take-away hot and cold dishes.
