Marco Pierre White Restaurants opens the Titanic on 1 December at the Regent Palace in London's Brewer Street. The 220-seat restaurant will serve meals such as chicken kiev and fish and chips.

British Airways has asked chef Brian Turner to help with new menus for its economy-class long-haul services, which it is trying to improve. BA says the plans were made before Egon Ronay's criticism of economy-class menus on transatlantic flights.
