Training For Life: a new cure for an old problem
Training can be a headache, and it's especially frustrating when people leave and new staff aren't familiar with the catering equipment you're using
Now Rational has the answer in "Training For Life". It means exactly what it says: if you need to train new staff during the life of your Rational ClimaPlus Combi, the company will arrange it for you. Free. And at a venue local to you.
It sounds almost too good to be true, but there's more. If you need retraining, or advanced training, or just a refresher, Rational will arrange that, too, again for free and at a venue nearby. The company's specialist product application chefs will even help you with menu development.
Rational believes it is the only catering company in the UK to offer such unrivalled and unconditional after-sales support. The company has set up 18 training sites throughout the UK and Ireland, in venues as varied as private restaurants, chefs' schools and Rational's own UK headquarters in Luton.
Each site hosts seminars on a regular basis - all you have to do is choose your site, choose your date and then book your place (or places) by calling the Rational Cooking Live free hotline on 0800 389 2944.
The seminars allow Rational users to come and learn techniques from expert chefs in a relaxed environment. They look at a variety of subjects, including showing how the latest advances in catering technology can improve cooking quality while saving you time and money. For example, in "IQT" Rational has giving its ClimaPlus combi ovens extra "brainpower" to manage the cooking process themselves, guaranteeing perfectly cooked and browned food, saving up to 50% of weight loss compared with traditional combi-steamer ovens, and giving chefs an unrivalled level of cooking accuracy.
Other advanced features covered include the new CleanJet feature, which gives ovens the power to clean themselves, and the new CalcDiagnosis system, which lets you know when your combi needs descaling.
Caterers may also decide to opt for a "themed" seminar. These look into various aspects of combi cooking in much greater detail, with subjects ranging from banqueting to Asian cuisine through to pub catering. n
