3D comes to aid of kitchen design
VIRTUAL reality kitchen design may be only a year away, according to Hobart Still, which unveiled a new three-dimensional (3D) symbol library.
The library, linked with the latest computer-aided design package from FSD (CADD Services) which was also exhibiting, can produce sophisticated 3D equipment designs.
The next step is a high-tech, computer-animated equipment design system capable of transfer on to a video machine for playback on television. This latest concept was demonstrated on video at the exhibition.
