WAPPING

hothouse

A 100-cover restaurant has been created from the oldest Victorian warehouse in London's Wapping. The Hothouse Bar and Grill, owned by Nigel Fenner-Fownes and run by Martin Coldicott, has the designer stamp of Emily Todhunter, whose track record includes London establishments such as Christopher's and Daphne's.

The ground floor restaurant has huge vaulted and beamed ceilings, wooden floors and walls of exposed brick. Walk downstairs, and you find yourself in a late-night bar and snack area, which has space for 100.
