Hilton chooses RHM
RHM Computing has won the facilities management (FM) contract to run mid-range computer systems for Hilton International.
Three IBM AS/400 computers and two IBM System/36 machines will be moved from the Hilton system centre at Watford and managed at RHM Computing's Harlow data centre.
The systems cover a variety of financial, marketing and administrative functions. RHM Computing will work closely with Hilton International in the development of its information technology strategy.
Peter Scott, Hilton International's director of operational services, said RHM Computing was chosen from the eight companies which tendered for the contract "particularly because of the company's attitude to FM".
