MR BLOBBY GETS COOL
THE phenomenal marketing power of Mr Blobby has been turned to ice-cream.
Strawberry flavour with marshmallow lumps, Mr Blobby ice-cream has been introduced as part of a line-up known as the Crinkley Bottom range, aimed firmly at the children's market.
Developed by Pollard's Cornish Ice Cream, it is made at Pollard's dairy in St Blazey, Cornwall, and is premium grade, with a recommended retail price of £1.85 per one-litre bucket, £2.55 for a two-litre tub and 65p for a small tub.
Other flavours are all connected with the fictional TV location of Crinkley Bottom. Maggoty hole flavour is chocolate with white marsh-mallow, and Gobbit in the Bog is green mint with dark chocolate ripple.
