Compass in Clwyd
Compass Services has won the contract to provide meals for 1,400 staff at two Hotpoint factories in Clwyd.
The win comes a month after Compass won what is thought to be one of the largest single-site contracts in the country, at the Department of Social Security's Contributions Agency inNewcastle-upon-Tyne.
The three-year DSS contract involves catering for some 8,000 people at the site, plus a further 4,000 staff at outlying sites in Tyne & Wear.
The contract was previously operated by Sutcliffe Catering following the purchase of former civil service caterer Forward in February.

Gardner Merchant is to cater for up to 2,000 visitors a day at the new Perth Library, due to open on 1 September.

Sutcliffe Catering has won three contracts in recent weeks, catering for a total of just under 2,000 people.
Contracts have been awarded by Prudential Corporation in London, the Atomic Energy Authority near Abingdon in Oxfordshire and Scottish newspaper publisher Aberdeen Journals.
Sutcliffe's sales and marketing director Frank Whittaker told Caterer contract sales since October had risen 10% over the same period in 1992-93.
