Caterer helps to find missing person

A missing hospitality worker has been found safe and well following an appeal in this week's issue of Caterer.

Lisa Wilkinson, 37, was spotted by the landlord of the Old Mill Inn in Pitlochry, Perthshire, after he saw her picture in the magazine. She was then traced to a local bed and breakfast.

Wilkinson disappeared from her home in Edinburgh six months ago and, despite appeals on TV and in the local press, the police had no leads.

She had previously worked as a housekeeper in a number of Edinburgh hotels, including, most recently, the Dunstane House hotel.

A spokeswoman for Lothian and Borders police said: "It was great timing because it is believed she was about to move on again. Your magazine clinched it in the end."

Wilkinson's contact details have been passed on to her family.
