Challenge to chefs in new TV quiz

You know venison is the meat from a deer, but would you know in which Shakespeare play Page thanks Shallow for getting him some?

Well, brush up on your general knowledge, because programme makers at the BBC are inviting chefs to enter a new quiz as part of its Test the Nation series.

The live TV event, scheduled for March and hosted by Anne Robinson and Phillip Schofield, needs a 240-strong studio audience, divided up into six specialist groups of 40 people each (including one group of chefs) to participate in an interactive multiple-choice test.

Audience members can come from any chef background but must be at least 16 years old. If you would like to take part, please contact Helen Gordon-Smith on 020 7421 7834 or at helen.gordon-smith@talenttv.com for an application form.

By the way, the answer to the Shakespeare question is The Merry Wives of Windsor.
