Chef Award

24 February 2000
Chef Award

The Cateys have long been the industry benchmark for excellence, with only a select few having been fortunate enough to take home the highly coveted Chef Award. So what makes a great chef? Creativity, innovation, consistency, a commitment to quality and excellence, dedication to the food service industry, professionalism… the list is long, but all of the qualities are essential.

The past winners of the Chef Award have each possessed these qualities in abundance and have been true ambassadors for the industry throughout their careers. This year's winner will be no exception.

The Chef Award category is open to any sector of the food service industry, from any type of kitchen environment, and nominations for any chef who has made a lasting and influential contribution will be welcomed. Their efforts may have been made through an active and committed involvement in nurturing new talent, or through the development of the profession in a wider context.

British Meat has a long tradition of working both with bright young stars and established influencers, which is why we are delighted to once again sponsor this prestigious award, and we urge all readers of Caterer & Hotelkeeper to submit their nominations. n
