Clean salad days

Answering the essential but often laborious requirement for clean salad ingredients, the Greenmatic salad dryer is available in 12- and 25-litre sizes and features stainless steel or aluminium internal components for HACCP compliance. Its shockproof gear mechanism is made of wear-resistant thermoplastic.

Units are priced at £99 (10-litre model) and £109 (25 litres). The inner basket is purposely light coloured to show up any washing residues.

While designed for salad, the unit can also be used with various vegetables. These are simply placed in the basket with the handle turned. Water automatically collects in the base to be drained off later. A special tube on the 25-litre model allows direct discharge into an adjacent sink.
