Compass tackles Twickenham project

Compass Group has formed a £42m joint venture with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and corporate hospitality firm Peter Parfitt Sport to provide catering and other services at Twickenham Stadium in south-west London.

The new outfit, Twickenham Experience, will provide match-day spectator catering and hospitality, conference, exhibition, meeting, reception and banqueting services.

Compass will hold 40% of the company, Peter Parfitt Sport will have 7.5% and the RFU will hold the remaining 52.5%. The RFU will be paid £16.75m for the rights to provide the services. After that, profits will be split according to shareholding.
