The Coolcutter fitted to Hobart VCB61 and VCB62 vertical cutter/blenders has two knives at its base and a second pair of turning knives further up to continuously force the food down against the cutting blades and reduce temperature rise during processing. A patented scraper system allows the operator to easily return food to the cutting zone while the machine is still operating, so no switching off to remove the lid and push food back with a spatula.

Both operate off single phase supply and chop, grind, mix and blend meat, fish, vegetables, cheese, nuts and chocolate. They also suit preparation of dressings, batters, sauces and soups with an extra high tube at the centre of the bowl and tight ceiling lid allowing batches up to 4.3 litres.

Capacity with dry foods is up to six litres. All machine functions including high and low speeds and a direct action pulse function are controlled by a single knob. Prices: £1,695 (VCB61)and £1,780 (VCB62).
