Coppola lot sold

The 32-bedroom County Hotel in Dalkeith, near Edinburgh, has been sold for nearly £1.65m. The hotel has a 94-seat restaurant, lounge bar, café bar and function room. Previous owners Violet Coppola and son Ralph Coppola are leaving to pursue business overseas. New owners Robert and Kate Scobie have sold their guesthouse, the Dukes in Edinburgh, and their interest in the Tapas Ole Restaurants, also in Edinburgh, to buy the hotel. Robert Barry & Co was the agent.
