Crook on Crutches

Police are warning hotels and restaurants in London's West End to be on the alert for a thief on crutches who preys on tourists.
The man, described as slim, 30-plus with greying hair, uses sympathy tactics to target victims from five-star hotel lobbies and restaurants. He then calmly hooks their handbags and hobbles away.
There have been reports of more than a dozen thefts by the man in the past two months.
