Crowne Plaza opens in City

InterContinental Hotels and Resorts will open its new Crowne Plaza hotel in London next week.

The 203-bedroom Crowne Plaza City, just north of London's Blackfriars Bridge on the edge of the City's Square Mile, officially opens on Monday, 23 February. The hotel is intended to set a new design standard for future Crowne Plazas, with its simple, clean and City-influenced interior.

The seven-storey hotel also features a jazz-themed bar, two restaurants, one of which will be overseen by chef Giorgio Locatelli and meeting facilities with space for up to 180 delegates.

InterContinental has more than 3,300 owned, leased, managed and franchised hotels across almost 100 countries. More than 200 of those properties are Crowne Plaza hotels.
