Devon's Northcote Manor hotel sold

The 11-bedroom Northcote Manor country house hotel in Burrington, north Devon, has been bought for an undisclosed sum.

Jean-Pierre and Jan Mifsud, owners of the 19-bedroom Lake Country House Hotel in Llangammarch Wells, Powys, and the 14-bedroom Dinham Hall hotel in Ludlow, Shropshire, bought the property in December.

Jean-Pierre Mifsud said he had no immediate plans to refurbish the three-star 18th-century hotel, but had brought in a new general manager and head chef. "We do not want to change anything. It is in good condition and is right exactly as it is. All the staff have remained," he said.
