Easier servicing

THE patented "enbloc" wash system on new Maidaid Halcyon D35N and D40N glasswashers is a fully moulded plastic housing which is expected to considerably cut routine servicing costs. The new system enables service staff to get straight to the major parts of the machine - wash pump, rinse-aid pump and electronic control board - without having to remove working parts first.

The new machines also have an enlarged wash tank to facilitate cleaning, a repositioned wash pump which is claimed to make the machine quieter and a double filter to minimise the problems of debris blocking the drain hose. The new machines, which replace the existing D35 and D40 models, are priced at £1,097 and £1,423 respectively.
