Egg play

Dutch designer Bakermans has come up with a distinctive design for an egg cup. Manufactured from thermoplastic rubber, the egg cups are completely flexible and, when the top is pushed down, create a cradle for the egg. The company claims the rubber helps to keep the egg warmer for longer and its increased grip on the egg reduces the possibility of breakage, even if the cup is knocked over. The cup, measuring 67mm x 135mm, is available in red, orange, yellow, pink, violet and off-white.
