Enter now for young chef young waiter
There is still time to enter the 2000 American Express Young Chef Young Waiter competition, aimed at professionals aged 25 and under. The closing date is 21 August.
The winners of each title will receive an expenses-paid trip to Sileni Estates in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, together with a cheque for £2,000. The second-placed finalists will receive £1,000 and a trip to E&J Gallo's vineyards in California, while third-placed finalists will visit Château Mosimann in Switzerland, which is due to open later this year. All 16 national finalists will be given a tour of the vineyards and cellars of Champagne Louis Roederer.
